Chicken Teryaki

Makes about 1-2 servings.


3 T soy sauce
2 T brown sugar
1 T corn oil
1/2 t garlic powder
1/2 t ground ginger
1/8 t black pepper
4 oz. boneless chicken


Multiply the ingredients by a large constant. Optionally, cut the chicken into cubes.

Submerge the chicken in the marinade and soak in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours (up to 24 hours). Grill or pan sear in a heavy cast iron skillet. Serve over freshly cooked rice.
